TO JOIN THE FFL, please follow the instructions below:
Go to https://www.speechwire.com/index.php and create a SpeechWire Account. You will need a SpeechWire account to join FFL.
After you log in to your Speechwire account, go to the bottom of your Home Page. The button (look for the FFL icon) has moved to a dedicated section somewhat lower on the account home page to streamline the layout. Click it, and follow the instructions on the resulting pages
We will accept school checks (as we always have), and we will continue to accept Venmo (our username is @Florida-Forensic-League) The FFL’s W-9 can be found on this page (scroll down). You will need to give this to your treasurer or bookkeeper. Click Here For The W-9
Ben Stewart (Creator of SpeechWire) updated progress tracking for schools so that coaches can check to see where they fall in the membership process
After completing the application and generating your School Membership Form, you must print it and have it signed by your school administrator, as well as yourself.
Please be sure to either attach your signed forms to the Google Form linked on Speechwire (https://forms.gle/
Please remember the FFL Membership Deadline is December 15, 2026. The FFL will honor any mailed fees postmarked by December 15th, but please get it in as early as possible. We are having an Open Varsity State in Orlando again this year, so we highly recommend joining to get the most out of the experience.
